Misti was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma Lung Cancer in January 2018. With this diagnosis came new trials the family would have to face in the coming years. Along with taking care of her daughter and serving her community as a Permian High School Police Officer, Misti was having to travel back and forth to Houston’s MD Medical Center in her new battle with cancer.
