The Johnsons were born and raised in West Texas. True to their roots, they made the decision to return to Midland after completing their education to nurture their two sons, Jordan and Kobe. Here, they have been instrumental in shaping the young minds of our community, instilling values and knowledge through their roles as teachers and coaches. In April, Megan Johnson was diagnosed with a rare non-small cell lung cancer called ROS-1. Megan’s treatment involves her and her husband, Ray, traveling to Houston for treatment at MD Anderson every three months. She will continue this indefinitely or until another treatment option becomes available.
