2016 | Allyson

Allyson was 6 years old, and on February 2nd of 2016 her family discovered a benign tumor on the frontal right lobe of her brain that was causing several issues for her. The Bose family had spent a lot of time at neurological, surgical, and psychological appointments and testing in Lubbock and Fort Worth. In less than 3 months Allyson had endured 3 MRI’s, sedation, and several days and weeks of EEG testing. As you might assume, even with insurance, the medical bills kept rolling in. Finally, the last MRI had given a bit of hope, as it appeared the tumor had stopped growing or at least slowed down significantly, and with such great news the Bose family had so much to be thankful for. They still have a long journey ahead of them as Allyson will continue to receive annual MRI checkups to monitor the tumor over time, but we remain hopeful and faithful that she will continue to be a strong, intelligent, active little girl.
